The South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team is hosting a watch party for the 2025 NCAA Tournament Selection Show at the Colonial Life Arena.
The event takes place on Sunday night, March 16, and all fans are invited to attend and watch the Selection Show with the team. Tickets to the event are free for general admission seating in Sections 104-106, Gamecocks Online shared. But you’ll want to get there early.
Even though the Selection Show kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. so fans can take part in a pre-Selection Show event. And parking is free, but on a first-come, first-served basis in Lots A and B. At 7 p.m., an hour before the Selection Show starts, fans will be able to compete in a variety of games for prizes. Then at 7:30 p.m., a Q&A session will be held with head coach Dawn Staley and the team.
After the Gamecocks’ bracket is revealed, Staley will then wrap up the event. The Selection Show is an exciting moment for fans, since the Gamecocks are guaranteed an NCAA Tournament bid after winning the SEC tournament with a 64-45 victory over the Texas Longhorns.
This marked the women’s basketball team’s third straight SEC title. If you can’t attend the Selection Show event in person, you can still watch the women’s basketball event live on TV. ESPN will be airing the Selection Show starting at 8 p.m. Eastern, with host Elle Duncan, reporter Holly Rowe, bracketologist Charlie Creme, and analysts Andraya Carter, Rebecca Lobo, and Carolyn Peck.
The two-hour special is called the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Special Presented by Capital One. You can stream the event on ESPN YouTube, ESPN Facebook and the ESPN app. If you’re also interested in watching the men’s NCAA tournament bracket reveal, this will be announced at 6 p.m. Eastern on CBS or ESPN, or stream it on Paramount+.
